The TP-Link FC311A-20 is a Gigabit media converter designed for extending network connections over long distances using fibre optic cabling. It works as part of a WDM pair with the FC311B-20, making it ideal for surveillance systems, campus networks, and building-to-building links.
Using WDM (Bi-Directional) technology, it allows data transmission over a single fibre strand, helping reduce cabling costs while maintaining efficient, high-speed performance. Designed for long-range use, it supports distances of up to 20 km when paired with the matching unit.
