The VIGI NVR1004H‑4P is a four channel PoE+ network video recorder designed for dependable recording, live viewing and playback in smaller surveillance setups. It supports four channel live view and offers 4K HDMI video output, providing clear visuals across all connected cameras.

The unit includes four 10/100 Mbps PoE+ ports with a total PoE budget of 53 watts, allowing cameras to be powered and connected using a single cable. It can decode up to four channels at 4 megapixels or up to two channels at 8 megapixels, making it suitable for higher resolution monitoring where needed.

For storage, the recorder offers a SATA interface that supports up to 10 terabytes, and certain versions include a 2 terabyte hard drive already fitted. H.265+ video compression helps extend recording time while reducing bandwidth requirements. With an incoming bandwidth of 80 megabits per second and outgoing bandwidth of 60 megabits per second, the system can manage multiple streams reliably.

Setup is made simpler with the Auto Initialise feature, which configures basic camera and storage settings with a single click. The NVR provides HDMI and VGA outputs and supports four channel synchronous playback, along with remote monitoring features to assist with day to day security management.
