CISA BOOSTER - Auxiliary Electronic Interface for Elettrika Series Locks

The CISA BOOSTER is an integrated electronic module engineered to extend the operational capabilities of CISA Elettrika series electromechanical locks. It provides the following technical functionalities:

Voltage Adaptation

Incorporates a voltage regulation circuit that allows the lock to operate with a variety of voltages, including 12V DC, 24V AC, and 24V DC, in addition to the standard 12V AC. This ensures reliable performance across different power supply configurations.

Low Current Load Compatibility

Supports installations where the control device (e.g., intercom systems) has a limited current output. The BOOSTER enables proper lock operation with input currents as low as 250 mA.

Tiny Power Source

BOOSTER ensures that the lock receives sufficient power supply.

Electric Hold-Open Functionality

Enables a continuous unlock state by wiring an external switch in parallel with the standard opening push-button. This allows the lock to remain in a hold-open / always open condition without repeated activation.

Integrated Installation on Elettrika Locks

Designed for seamless integration within the Elettrika lock housing. The module is mounted directly on the lock frame and concealed beneath the cover, maintaining the lock’s original appearance.

Compatibility with Other Electromechanical Locks

Can be installed on other types of electric locks (excluding electric strikers), provided the module is positioned close to the lock body. Note: the hold-open function is only supported when used with CISA Elettrika locks.
